What is the Gratitude Body?

The Gratitude Body is a space to get to know yourself, shift your perceptions of who you believe yourself to be and welcome in a deep and abiding sense of your own sacred nature.

Through expanding the sense perception of being in the body, we become familiar with the differing ways that the heart, breath, body and soul are communicating.

​Deep insights, profound revelations and self-healing abilities are activated, offering a depth of transformation and an awakening to life as it unfolds from within you. ​

​Get to know the subtle energy currents residing within.

​As an energy current, gratitude is the bridge that takes us across the gap of who we perceive ourselves to be, and who we actually are; who we present ourselves as to the world, and who we experience ourselves as from moment to moment. 

​It is a way of coming to understand the healing pathway of discovery, transformation and awakening, while relaxing and opening into our inherently miraculous nature. Using gratitude as the soft, gentle thread, we weave a new story of understanding, feeling and experience into the body as the body surrenders into a remembering, gaining access to precious gifts and abilities long held dormant.

The gifts of gratitude are measurable and influential. 



​As the heart produces the largest electromagnetic field in the body, gratitude changes the brain, the types of chemicals the body releases, the vitality of the body and the energy frequency that we're electromagnetically sending out. Extensive studies have been done in the past 25+ years to scientifically measure brain wave and heart wave patterns, and understand how one impacts the other.

​Science continues to reaffirm in a multitude of ways that the ability to sustain a harmonious, loving, appreciative coherence within the heart, directly informs the mind and body in far-reaching and long-term ways. It impacts our own body and energy field, directly impacts and influences others both near and far, and has lasting effects that show up in tests days, weeks and months later.

​Each retreat day offered at Gaia Wellness Retreat will be a wholly nourishing and vivefying experience on it's own. Taken as a retreat package, the 4-month series will provide a solid anchoring and an integration into a new way of being. 
We'll integrate relaxation techniques, build upon a core embodiment practice, and apply heart coherence strengthening exercises. These will be your keys for transformation. Our explorations and practices will gift you with the abilities to:

  • understand the different ways that the mind, body, heart and soul are using to communicate to you
  • develop the habit of shifting perspectives using gratitude
  • strengthen the muscle memory for relaxing and opening, and soften resistance and holding patterns in the body
  • connect with and feel gratitude as an energy current in the heart, and the pleasure of this expanding field within you
  • experience a growing confidence, trust, empowerment and sense of stability as your breath, movement and sound expressions begin to sync up and move through you more easily
  • harness your creative energies, channelling them towards soulful expressions as you feel this growing sense of the sacred from within

  • The heart carries its own intelligence, learning to trust + allow it to guide requires us to release our habitual forms of resistance - get to know how your body maps resistance so you can soften through​

  • You are a multi-layered energetic being, and your body is a map of your consciousness

​Bringing it all home.

​

​This course will help you develop and expand on practices that bring gratitude and appreciation to the forefront of your way of being in the world. Heart coherence will develop as the primary place of rest and feeling preference, and forgiveness, acceptance and the sense of allowing will become more natural perspectives. Freedom and peace in relationships will become easier to navigate. Creative genius will be more readily accessible and expressed through you from a more soul-informed place.  
​

​In support of the journey, guided meditations and embodiment practices from The Gratitude Body 4-week online course will be available for participants to deepen into their practice at home. If you register for 1 day retreat, you'll receive the recordings related to that day's focus. If you register for the 4-month series, you'll receive all of the recordings.
